Attica, Ind. (CNS) – Miss Ida Carolina Johnson, 90, a resident of the Pleasant Valley Nursing Home, died Saturday (Aug. 19, 1967) at the Home Hospital in Lafayette. She had been a patient for several months. Born May 29, 1877, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis P. Johnson. She had never married. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church and had formerly been employed at Mudlava Springs, Harrison Steel Casting Co. and Sam Newmark Stores. Survivors include three nephews, Charles Malka of Minneapolis, Minn., Robert Melka of Cleveland, Ohio, and Leonard Johnson of Danville. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the First Lutheran Church. The Rev. Karl Korbel will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. The body is at the Roemer Funeral Home. Friends will be received after 7 p.m. Tuesday. The family has requested memorials be in the form of donations to the First Lutheran Church building fund. – jlr
