JOHNSON, Grace - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

COVINGTON -- Grace E. Johnson, 86, of Rt. 1, Covington, died today in Americana Nursing Home at Danville, Ill. She had been in ill health for a month. She was a life resident of Wabash Township in Fountain County. Members of her family were pioneers of the area. Born March 12, 1890, she was a daughter of John A. and Anna Spinks Johnson. Survivors are a nephew, Rendall Johnson of Covington; two nieces, Mrs. Keith (Elizabeth) Lewis of Covington and Mrs. Robert (Mary) Wolter of Covington; and several great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Alex H. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home at Covington with the Rev. Alfred Dobbs officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Thursday.  --waw
