JESTER, Maude Snoddy - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Covington - Maude Shell Jester, 91, of Covington died at 11:40 p.m. Tuesday in Vernon City Hospital, Champaign, Ill. She had been a patient one week. She was a member of the Perrysville United Mehtoidst Church and Rebecca Lodge of Perrsyville. She was a resident of Perrysville until she moved to Covington in 1966. Born Dec 10, 1884, she was a daughter of William Irwin and Eliza Johnson Snoddy of Fountain County. She was married to Frank Jester April 1, 1906. He preceded her in death Aug 15 1975. Survivors are two sons, Wayne of Crawfordsville and Harold S. of Champaign, ill; a sister, Ruby Richardson of Covington; a brother, Raymond of Perrysville; two granddaughters, a great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister and four brothers. Services 2 p.m. Friday in Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home, Veedersburg with Rev. henry Karg officiating. Burial in Hicks Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home between 6-9 p.m. Thursday.
