Funeral services for Mrs. Alice M. Jennings were held Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Cayuga UB Church. Mrs. Jennings, 64, died at her home in Lodi early Tuesday morning after a week’s illness of a heart ailment. The family was former Cayuga residents.
Mrs. Jennings was born May 7, 1885 at Marietta, Ga., the daughter of J. B. and Mary Jane LaMaston Leage. Her husband, Charley Jennings, preceded her in death and a son, James, was killed in World War II. She is survived by one son, Hubert, at home, and two daughters, Mrs. Loretta Steinbaugh, Veedersburg and Mrs. Mattie Koloa of Danville. She was a member of the Cayuga American Legion Auxiliary. – S&E
