Covington - Jay Jeffries, 45, Covington, formerly of Rockville died Monday Dec 16, 2002 at his residence. He was born Aug 14, 1957 in Clinton, son of Chauncey C. and Marjorie Josephine Hazlett Jeffries. He was employed by Shawnee Workshop in Covington. He was a member of First Church of Christ in Covington. Survivors include a brother, Kim Jeffries, Rockville; four sisters, Marjorie Phelps, Mooresville; Betty Hall, Citrus Heights, Calif; Audrey Felkner, Bloomington and Gayle Bradburn, Griffith and 15 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Tom Jeffries. Funeral services were at 2:30 p.m. Friday in Gooch Funeral Home, 112 Howard St, Rockville with Randy Walters officiating. Burial was in Mt.
