JANZEN, Jacob - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mellott – Jacob Janzen, 90 died Friday in the McKeen Nursing Home at North Palm Beach, Fla.  He was exec VP of Ingersoll-Rand Corp builders of heavy equipment in California retiring in 1964.  He received his formal education in Russia and was also a graduate of Case Engineering School at Cleveland, Ohio.  Mr. Janzen was born in Russia on Feb 12, 1894.  He was married on Sept 16, 1943 at NY City to Beulah Hancock of Mellott.  Surviving with the widow are nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery with Rev. William Chapman officiating. Friends may call at Thomas Funeral Home at Waynetown 6-8 p.m. today. - kz
