Veedersburg, Ind.—William T. James, 68, of 306 Railroad Ave., Veedersburg, died unexpectedly at 2 p.m. Saturday (July 20, 1974) in a Veedersburg restaurant. Cause of death has not been determined.
He was a retired employee of the Burgner Garage. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, the Veedersburg Lodge 491 F&AM, Charles Forrest Post 288, the Knights of Pythias and Springhill Lodge 246.
He was born in Clay County on January 25, 1906, the son of Samuel and Dora James.

Survivors include his mother in Veedersburg; one brother, Charles Joseph James of Danville; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Parham Funeral Home. The Rev. Glen Youngblood will officiate, and burial will be in Bonebrake Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
