JACOBS, Goldie - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Goldie Jacobs of Danville, Illinois, age 85, died Monday morning, April 19, in International Nursing Home at Danville. She was born at Catlin, Illinois, January 9, 1897, the daughter of Daniel and Lucretia Neal. April 11, 1924, she married Albert Jacobs, who died January 11, 1973. She had operated the Coffee Club in Danville for many years.

  Surviving are two sons, James Jacobs of Danville and George Roth of Milwaukee; a sister, Edith Sanders of Kingman; and a brother, James Neal of Florida.

  Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at Lakeside Funeral Chapel in Danville with Rev. Herbert Smith officiating. Burial was in Stearns Cemetery at Fithian, Illinois. - s
