Crawfordsville - Ruth E. Jackson, 89 a resident of Ben Hur Nursing Home, Crawfordsville died there at 6:50 a.m. Sept 9, 1997. She was born May 2, 1908 in Milltown, the daughter of Clem and Marcia Toler. She married Paul Jackson Sept 28, 1932 in Veedersburg. He preceded in death. She was a graduate of Perrysville HS. She was employed at Jackson's West End Market and eas executive director of the Red Cross. Surviving are a son, Paul Jackson Jr, Lakeland, Fla; a sister, Hildreth Hoagland Everett, Crawfordsville; three grandchildren and 10 greats. She was also preceded in death by three brothers and a sister. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today (Friday) in Burkhart Funeral Home, Crawfordsville with Rev. Bill Grimes officiating. Burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Covington.
