JACKSON, Cora May Hockersmith - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mrs. Cora May Jackson, 73 died suddenly at 3 p.m. Monday at her home here.  Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Covington Baptist Church of which she was a member, the Rev. Jack Cauldwell officiated and interment was in Mt. Hope Cemetery.  The Crumley & Son Funeral home was in charges.  Mrs. Jackson was born in Rossville Aug 8, 1874, a daughter of Michael and Margaret Hill Hockersmith.  She was preceded in death by her husband.  Surviving are three daughters, Ethel Frances; Mabel Kenny and Fern Hopper all of Covington; two sons, Frank and Paul, Crawfordsville; two stepdaughters Mrs. Rose Runyan, Covington and   Olive Cartels in Iowa; 17 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. ~~~Transcribed and Type by kbz
