Perrysville—Charles Theodore (Pete) Jackson, 74, for the past 23 years business manager of the Pawley Lumber Company, Perrysville, was found dead at 1:30 a.m. Tuesday at his home here of a heart attack. He had been in failing health a year and was under care of a physician. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the residence and Watson Funeral Home, Cayuga, will have charge of interment in Hicks Cemetery. Odd Fellows will be pall bearers. Mr. Jackson was born Oct. 10, 1872 in Vermilion County, Ill., son of William and Mariah Swen Jackson. He was married in 1892 to Sarah Hughes, who preceded him in death and in 1943, was married to Margaret Fox, who survives. He lived in Perrysville 27 years. He also leaves two children, George Jackson, Perrysville and Mrs. Mary Goodrich, Buffalo, N. Y., four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge. – thanks so much to S&E
