Services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Rush Creek Church for Alvin Jackson, 89 of Tangier who died Friday afternoon in Wallace at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Minnie Bowman. A retired farmer he was preceded in death by a daughter, son, three brothers and two sisters. Other survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Essie Trusler of Kingman Rt 1, Mrs. Clara Neal of Attica and Mrs. Callie Swaim of Tangier Rt 1; a son, Wilbur of Marshall, Ind; a brother, Carl Jackson of Oilton, Oklah; a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Bryant of Danville, Ill 25 grandchildren 57 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. The Woodrow Funeral Home was in charge. – kbz
