Irving Bernie "Ike" Isley, 68, of 212 Warren, died Tuesday (July 20, 1971), at St Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette. He had been a patient a week and a half. Born near Yeddo in Fountain County, July 31, 1902, he was the son of Oscar and flora Irving Isley. He married Thelma Hall in Williamsport Nov 11, 1944. He had resided in Williamsport for the past five years. He also resided in Attica for 30 years and in Danville, Ill. He attended Danville Schools. He was employed at Harrison Steel Casting co. in Attica for 26 years, retiring in 1965. He was a member of the EUB church and the Moose Lodge 1001, both of Danville, and was a charter member of Elks Lodge 2596 of Attica. His hobbies were fishing and sports. Survivors include his widow: a sister, Mrs. Glee Noonam of Paris, Ill: and several cousins. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Maus Funeral Home in Attica, with the Rev. Harold Bachert officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery in Danville. - kbz

Williamsport -Irving Bernie “Ike” Isley 68 of 212 Warren St, Williamsport, died at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette, where he had been a patient one and a half weeks. Mr. Isley was born east of Yeddo in Fountain County. He resided 30 years in Attica and also in Danville, Ill before moving to Williamsport five years ago. He attended school in Danville, Ill. He retired in 1965 after 25 years at the Harrison Steel Castings Co, Attica. Mr. Isley was married in 1944 at Williamsport to Thelma Hall who survives. He was a member of the Evangelical United Brethren Church and Moose Loge 1001 both of Danville, and was a charter member of Eagles Lodge 2596, Attica. Surviving with the widow is a sister, Mrs. Glee Noonam (sic) of Paris, Ill. - kbz
