IRELAND, Harry G. - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Veedersburg, Indiana - Harry G Ireland, 73, of 509 W 9th, Veedersburg, a retired general contractor, died at 7 p.m. yesterday (Nov 13, 1969) at Lake view Memorial Hospital in Danville where he was a patient three days. He was born Nov 8, 1896, in Attica, the son of William and Nettie Goans Ireland. On Feb 2, 1921, he married the former Carolyn Francis in Lafayette and she survives. Other survivors include a brother, James of Muncie, Ind, and a sister, Mrs Myra Snider of Atlanta, Ga. A son, Earl, and seven brothers preceded him in death. Mr. Ireland was a veteran of World War I. Services will be at 2 p.m. EST Saturday at the Parham Funeral Home in Veedersburg. Friends will be received after 6 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery in Attica.
