IRELAND, Carolyn Francis - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Carolyn M. Ireland of Veedersburg, age 78, died Tuesday morning, December 30, in Tampa, Florida, where she had been visiting friends. She was born in Indiana, July 18, 1902, the daughter of Fred and Alta Washburn Francis.

     In February 1921, she married Harry Ireland, who preceded her in death. She was a 50-year member of the Christian Church and Royal Neighbors of America.

  Surviving are a brother, Blythe Francis of Berkeley, California; two nieces and two nephews.

  Graveside services and burial were in Riverside Cemetery at Attica with Rev. Bill Ringgold officiating. Parham Funeral Home at Veedersburg was in charge of arrangements. – thanks to S
