ATTICA — Roger Keith Ingram, 72, 120 Avenue Six, Attica, died at 6:30 p.m. Friday, July 14, 2000 at his residence. He was born Nov. 19, 1927 in Danville, Ill., the son of Paul Harrison and Esther Jeanette Peyton Ingram. His second marriage was to Clara Mae (Young) Lister Nov. 3, 1970 in Covington. She survives. He was raised in Williamsport and attended Williamsport High School. He had lived in Attica for the past 27 years. He formerly worked at Stamm's Truck Dealership, Harrison Steel Castings Company and retired from Ready-Mix Company in Attica as a mechanic in 1989. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U. S. Army Air Corps. He enjoyed working in his yard and mechanic work on engines. Survivors, besides the wife, include: two sons, John Ingram, Attica and Ricky Ingram, Tilton, Ill.; a daughter, Marilyn (Archie) Howard, Attica; a step son, Robert (Vonda) Lister, Attica; three step daughters, Diana (Clyde) Pugh, Attica, Jacqueline (Bradley) Rohler, West Point and Mary (Steve) Sprague, Terre Haute; a brother, Archie Thomas (Mary Ruth) Ingram, Lafayette; 18 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul H. Ingram and Esther J. (Peyton) Ingram Martin; a son, David Ingram; and a sister, Shirley Moore. Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Maus Funeral Home, Attica. Burial with military gravesite services were in the V.A. National Cemetery, Danville, Ill. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Foundation. – jlr
