INGERSOLL, Warren

Warren E (Bob) Ingersoll, assistant chief engineer of Crawfordsville Electric Light and Power Co, died at 5 p.m. Sunday in St Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette where he had been a patient for a month. He was 63. Mr. Ingersoll, who resided at 703 E Market St, had been in failing health since March and seriously ill since April 7. An employee of Crawfordsville Electric Light and Power co the past 26 years, he was previously employed for 17 years by Snyder electric Co and Peacock and Shannon Co. here. He was educated in Crawfordsville schools. Born Dec 5, 1901, at Wallace, he was a son of Thomas and Mary Hybarger Ingersoll. He was married Jan 6, 1920 to Laura Michaels. They were married here. Survivors in addition to the widow, include a son, Fred E, of Crawfordsville, a daughter Mrs Rosemary Westfall of West Newton: a sister, Mrs Wreatha Cronin of Crawfordsville and four grandchildren. The body was taken to Servies Funeral Home in Waynetown where friends may pay their respects after 4 p.m. Tuesday. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Rev. John R Servies officiating. Interment will be in Masonic Cemetery at Waynetown.

Waynetown - Funeral services for Warren (Bob) Ingersoll of Crawfordsville were held Wednesday afternoon at the Servies Funeral Home Rev. John R. Servies officiated and organ music was played by Mrs. Nellie Snyder.

Serving as pallbearers were Mr. Ingersoll's fellow workers at the Crawfordsville Electirc Light & Power Co: Eddie Gill; Donald Michaels; Alfred Hunt; Everett Cooper; Robert Fairfield; Floyd Simmons; Charles White and Charles Servies. They also assisted with flowers. Burial was in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.
