Mrs. Christina Ingersoll, widow of James Ingersoll, died Saturday night at 12 o'clock at the old home near Ingersoll Corner, four miles SW of Waynetown of the infirmities of age, being at the time of her death 82 years old. Mrs. Ingersoll, since the death of her husband several years ago, has lived at the home place with her son, Clayton Ingersoll and family. Her health has been failing for several months. Mrs. Ingersoll was a longtime resident of the locality where her death occurred and it was from the interest herself and her husband had taken in establishing a church in that neighborhood that gave the locality its name and its place of religious worship has always been known as the Ingersoll church. The deceased was the mother of several children who survive. The funeral services will occur on Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock from the home and burial will take place at the Waynetown cemetery. - kbz
