Frankfort – Ralph Carl Hutts, 52, a locomotive engineer on the Nickel Plate railroad, died in his home, 407 West Wabash street at 5 a.m. Monday. He had been ill 16 months. Born near Kingman, he moved to Frankfort from Fountain County in 1923 to go to work for the Nickel Plate railroad. He was married to Ina Reed Curtis in 1941 and was a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers. Surviving with the widow are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John L. Hutts of near Kingman; a sister, Mrs. Marlen Hall, Veedersburg and a brother, AR Hutts, Charleston, Ill.
