HUTTS, James Milton

James Milton Hutts, 86 of Attica died Thursday at his home after a one month critical illness. Born Jan 9, 1873 in Wallace, he was the son of Henry and Melinda Sowers Hutts.  He was married in 1892 to Anna Kerns and later married Cora Brown in 1900. Both preceded him in death. Survivors include three daughters: Mrs. Sylvia Evans of Attica; Mrs. Charity Nowles of Attica and Mrs. Mary Reamus of Bloomingdale; two sons, Marion and Ted, both of Attica; three stepsons, Otto Hutts, Bill Osborn and Sam Osborn all of Attica; 29 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.  Services were held Sunday at the Roemer Funeral Home with burial in the Hoard Cemetery at Tangier. – kz

Attica, Ind.   James Milton Hutts, 86, of 204 W. Monroe St. in Attica, di ed at
11:57 p.m. Thursday April 23 1959, at his home following a one month critical
illness.  Born Jan 9 1873 in Wallace, he was the son of Henry and Melinda Sowers Hutts.
He was married in 1992 to Anna Kerns and later married Cora Brown in 190 0.  Both
preceded him in death. Mr. Hutts was a member of the Cayuga EUB church.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Sylvia Evans of Attica, Mrs. Charity
Nowles of Attica and Mrs. Mary Rasmus of Bloomingdale; two sons, Marion and Ted
both of Attica; three step-sons, Otto Hutts, Bill Osborn and Sam Osborn, a l of
Attica;  29 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.   He was preceded in death
by two sons. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Roemer Funeral Home.  Burial will be in
the Howard Cemetery at Tangier.   The body is at the family residence where
friends will be received after 1 p.m. Saturday.
