HUTTS, Harold L. - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Harold L. Hutts, 78, of 69430 Christiana Lake Road, Edwardsburg died Friday AUg 25, 2000 at 4 a.m. at home from an apparent heart attack.  He was born Oct 12, 192 in Yeddo, Ind.  He moved to the Edwardsburg area in 1953 from South Bend and Veedersburg, Ind. On June 8 1940 in Veedersburg, he married Maxine E. Sprouls, who survives.  Also surviving: two sons, Jerry Dean (Carol Ann) Hutts of Edwardsburg and Bill E. (Barbara) Hutts of Elkhart, Ind; three grandchildren, Tony Hutts, Marlo Lyon and Shawna Hutts; twin great grandchildren, Matthew and Hannah Lyon and a brother, Victor Hutts of Lafayette.  Preceding him in death were a son, Gerald D. Hutts in 1941 in infancy and two brothers, Virgil Hutts and Valmer Hutts.

Mr. Hutts was a general contractor and self-employed builder of 40 years, retiring four years ago.  Funeral services for Mr. Hutts were held Monday, Aug 28, 2000 at the Paul E. Mayhew Funeral Home, the Rev. Jeff Reese, pastor of Hope United Methodist Church officiating.  Friends called Sunday Aug 27 from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home and for one hour before services Monday.  Cremation followed services with burial of cremains following at Adamsville Cemetery on Saturday Sept 2 at 10 a.m. - kbz
