Oliver Kenneth Hutson of Danville, Illinois, formerly of Covington, age 57, died Monday morning, November 8, in Lakeview Medical Center at Danville. He was born at Covington, October 30, 1925, the son of Oliver D. and Anna Marie Bantz Hutson. March 13, 1944, he married Mary E. Purple, who survives. A Navy veteran of World War II, he was formerly employed by Bohn Heat Transfer and was a member of the Fishing Club at Fairmount, Illinois.

  Also surviving are three daughters, Sharon Kay Martin of Oakwood, Illinois, Linda Barfell of Perrysville and Susie Keller of Covington; three sons, Kenneth E. of West Lebanon, Dohn and Danny Joe, both of Covington; three sisters, Mary Potter of New Richmond, Alma Brown of LaPorte and Martha Swaney of Eaton Park, Florida; two brothers, John of Tacoma, Washington, and James of Kingman; four stepsisters, Thelma Freeman of Attica, Vera Knowling of Roachdale, Betty Sharlow of Veedersburg and Jennie Hancock of Attica; a stepbrother, James Hancock of Covington; nine grandchildren and five step grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home in Covington with Rev. Edgar Allen officiating. Burial was in Bend Cemetery north of Covington. - thanks so much to "S" for all of her obit work on this site
