George Hutson, 61, of 911 Ravine Park Boulevard, Attica, passed away at Veterans Hospital, Danville, Ill., on Friday, January 14, 1977, at 7 p.m. having been ill one year.
  He was born at Hillsdale, Ind., on Jan. 31, 1915, the son of Levi and Nellie Jane Carter Hutson. He had lived practically all of his life in Attica. He was first married April 25, 1935 in Danville, Ill., to Alma Rose Howard, who died April 1975.
  April 18, 1976, in Danville, Ill., he was married to Grace White, who survives.
  He had attended school in Attica, and had been a welder at Harrison Steel Casting Co. for several years. He was a Veteran of World War II, serving in Army. He was a member of Moose Lodge, Attica and VFW of Attica.
  Surviving besides his wife are five children that were raised in his home. Russell Howard of California; Steve Howard of Independence; Sherry Buit of Clarksville, Ky.; Virginia Gerard of Attica; Brenda Burton of South Carolina; one stepson, James Mather of Brook, Ind.; one step daughter, Beth White of Attica; two brothers, William and Frank Hutson, both of Attica; five sisters, Mrs. John (Genevieve) Hayden, Mrs. Lavern (Hazel) Nolen, Mrs. Rex (Martha) Reynolds, Mrs. Ada K. Towell, all of Attica and Mrs. Ina Weldon of Morocco, Ind.
  Services were at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Dale Maus Funeral Home Chapel in Attica with Rev. Marvin Jones officiating. Interment was at Riverside Cemetery in Attica with VFW Post of Attica conducting graveside rites. -s
