Alma Rose Hutson, 59, 911 Ravine Park Blvd., Attica, died 7:45 p.m. Friday, April 4, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette. She was born at Danville, Ill., June 22, 1915, the daughter of Arch Howard and Victoria R. Denze Howard. A life resident of Attica, she was married April 25, 1935, at Danville, Ill., to George Hutson who is a welder at Harrison Steel Castings Co. in Attica. She attended Attica High School and was an inspector and supervisor at Radio Materials Corp. in Attica. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and College of Regents of Women of the Moose. Surviving with her husband are two boys and three girls whom she raised in her home, Russell Howard, West Lebanon; Steve Howard, in the U.S. Army in Germany; Mrs. Sherry Puit, Winton, Calif.; Mrs. Virginia Gerard, Attica; Miss Brenda Howard, at home; seven brothers, Arthur Howard, Archie Howard, Wesley Howard, Victor Howard, Emerson Howard, Elston Howard, all of Attica, and Russell Howard, Chase; three sisters, Mrs. Beatrice Collier, Indianapolis; Mrs. June Kiger, Lafayette; Mrs. Virginia Siewert, Louisville, Ky. The College of Regents, Women of the Moose, presented services at the Dale Maus Funeral Home in Attica. Services were held there with Rev. Vernon Lallement officiating. Kay Jones played favorite selections on the organ including “Evening Prayer” and “Rock of Ages.” Burial was at Riverside Cemetery with her seven brothers serving as pall-bearers. – jlr
