Charles Walter Hutchinson, 72, life long resident of the Waynetown community died at 6:40 o'clock Thursday morning at 8:30 south Grant Avenue in Crawfordsville after an illness of two weeks, following a stroke of paralysis. Born 3 miles north of Waynetown, Dec 29, 1871, on a farm, Mr. Hutchinson was the son of John G. Hutchinson and Elizabeth Bannon Hutchinson. He was married Nov 6, 1892, to Emma M. Alward, of near Waynetown. Mr. Hutchinson was a member of the Old Baptist Church near Elmdale. Surviving are his daughter, Mrs. Wanda Smith, of 709 E. Jefferson Street, Crawfordsville and his daughter-in-law, Mrs. Armista Hutchinson of near Waynetown. Four grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive. The body was taken Thursday to the Grenard and Servies Funeral Home here, where funeral services will be held at 1:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon Nov 11, the Rev. John R. Servies of near Crawfordsville will be in charge. Burial will be made in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.
