HUNTER, Dorothy Blanks

Covington, Ind.—Services were at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Benson Chapel Church for Mrs. Dorothy Hunter, 78, a resident of the Foster area on Covington Route 2 since 1922. She died at 3:40 a.m. Thursday (June 13, 1974) at the Iroquois Hospital in Watseka. She had been a patient six months and had been ill a year.

  The Rev. Jerry Kissinger officiated. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery.

  Born June 30, 1895, in Dartford, Kent, England, she was the daughter of Charles and Susanna Taylor Blanks. She was married Jan. 17, 1922, to Claude A. Hunter, who died Nov. 2, 1949.

  Survivors include two sons, Lionel of Watseka and Charles of Jacksonville, Fla.; seven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
  She was a member of the Benson Chapel Church and the United Methodist Women. -s
