HUNT, E. Leroy - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

E. Leroy Hunt of Perrysville, age 72, died Thursday morning, July 30, in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Danville, Illinois. He was born in Vermillion County, November 9, 1908, the son of William Oscar and Iva O. Pierson Hunt. Hunt was a veteran of World War II and was a construction laborer. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Virginia Payne of Danville, Illinois; an aunt, Mrs. Elsie Tincher of Coatesville; an uncle, Francis Pierson of Crete, Illinois; two nieces and a nephew.

  Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home in Covington with Rev. Richard Pippin officiating. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery at Covington. – thanks to S
