HUDSON, Vonia - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Vonia Hudson of Sarasota, Florida, formerly of Waynetown, age 84, died Tuesday, February 22, in Sarasota Memorial Hospital. She was born at Hillsboro, March 9, 1898, the daughter of Samuel and Vinnie Riley Ellis. In May of 1916, she married Fred F. Hudson, who died October 1, 1974. Educated at Hillsboro, she was a member of Waynetown United Methodist Church.

  Surviving are a son, Gerrold of Lafayette; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Kathleen DeBruiker.

  Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at Thomas Funeral Home in Waynetown with Rev. Gilbert Hubbard officiating. Burial was in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. – thanks to S
