Charlotte Hudson, 91, Crawfordsville, died 2 p.m. Monday in Hickory Creek Nursing Home, where she had been a resident for the past 5 years. Mrs. Hudson was a homemaker and co-owner of Hudson Machine Tool which she and her husband started in the 1950s. Her memberships included First Christian Church. She attended Crawfordsville High School.
She was born July 24, 1914 at Waynetown to Charles Gegner and Elizabeth Ball. She married Babe D. Hudson Dec 3, 1932 at Crawfordsville with the Rev. John Servies officiating. Babe died in 1995.
Survivors include three daughters, Marilyn Sowers, AWallace and Carolyn (John) Foster and Nancy (Max) Servies, both of Crawfordsville a son, Charles (Jan) Hudson, Crawfordsville; a sister, Mary Margaret Probst, Plymouth; 18 grandchildren; 50 great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. A child, a grandchild, a great grandchild, three sisters and three brothers are deceased.
Funeral services are schedule for 12 p.m. Wednesday in Shoemaker Funeral Home, 202 S. Ind 25, waynetown with grandson Brian Hudson and great grandson Ryan Sowers officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call 10 a.m. until time of services Wednesday in the funeral home. After interment a celebration of her life will be in the home of Max and Nancy Servies, 506 S. Washington St. - kz
