Veedersburg, Ind July 14 – Fred Huber, age 55 lifelong resident here was killed today when he was struck by a Big Four westbound freight train while walking near the Veedersburg Brick Company plant. The train was switching at the company’s factory. Huber is survived by a sister, Mrs. Dora Linton of Veedersburg. – kbz

Fred Huber, 58, was accidentally killed in a tragic manner about noon Friday July 14 as he walked on the Big Four railroad tracks enroute to the home of his sister, Mrs. Dora Linton who lives near the old town cemetery when he was struck by a westbound freight train. – kbz
