Funeral services for Ward E. Howard, 75 farmer residing northwest of Wallace who died at his home Saturday were held from the Crumley Funeral Home in Hillsboro Monday afternoon. The Rev. Ralph Watson officiated and burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hillsboro. Mr. Howard was the son of John and Melinda Stephens Howard and was married to Bessie Keller Def 24, 1909. Survivors are the widow, a son, Rev. Riffle Howard of Lewis; a daughter, Mrs. Iona Wooten of Veedersburg; a sister, Mrs. Lula Bruner, Veedersburg; two brothers, Rev. Charles Howard and Walter Howard both of Veedersburg; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. – kbz
