HOWARD, Minnie Carlson - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mrs. Minnie Carlson Howard, age 72, of Hammond, a native of Warren County, died at 5:40 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 3 at home after a three month illness. Mrs. Howard was born May 15, 1895, in Warren County, the daughter of Gustus and Clara Carlson. She was married Sept. 5, 1916, to Roy Howard, a construction worker in Williamsport and he survives. A member of the First Church of Christ, Whiting. Mrs. Howard lived in the Calumet area since 1942. Surviving, in addition to the husband, are; one daughter, Mrs. Clark (Ruth) Fleming of Whiting, and two grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 7, at the DeSutter Funeral Home here. The Rev. George Davis officiated and burial was in Riverside Cemetery.  -- tch
