HOUTS, Rosetta Skiens Redman - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Attica – Mrs. Rosetta N. Skiens Houts, 88 of 306 N 6th St, died at 7:28 a.m. today in Woodland Manor Nursing Center. She had been ill for the past month.  A former bookkeeper for Buchannan and Mora, she had also been employed by Martin Insurance Agency and Paris Cleaning and Laundry. A native and life resident of Attica, she was educated in Attica schools and married here in 1908 to Jerry Redman who died in 1922. In 1942 she married Chancellor Houts who died in 1949. Mrs. Houts was a member of Attica Christian Church.  Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Edward (Ormal) Larson, Rt 1, Attica; Mrs. Carl (Katheryn) Rice and Mrs. Alvin (Esther) Ault, both of Attica; a son, Keith Redman, Attica and three stepsons, Forest L. Houts, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla; Robert L. Houts, Harvey Ill; Chester Houts, Wisconsin.
