VEEDERSBURG — Diana Sue Houser,
58, Veedersburg, died at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 13, 2006 in Methodist Hospital,
Indianapolis. She was born Nov. 5, 1947 in Danville, Ill., the daughter of
Robert and Sylvia (Douglas) Houser. She attended the New Hope Christian Church
in Crawfordsville. She formerly worked for Danville Care. She enjoyed sewing
and crafts. She enjoyed time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She
enjoyed following and listening to her granddaughter Kelsie singing. She had a
special bond with her cousin Rita Oldani and enjoyed spending time with her and
their many friends at the Fastlane in Veedersburg. She had many special friends
that were like family to her and she will be greatly missed by all. Survivors
include: two sons, Derek Bowling, Veedersburg and David Bowling, Danville,
Ill.; a daughter, Dody (Mike) Lomax, Danville, Ill.; three sisters, Cathy
Thomas, Thornhill, Tenn., Peggy Ann Jones, Covington, and Linda Houser,
Waynetown; and five grandchildren, Kelsie and Connor Lomax, Danville, Ill.,
Danyele Bowling, Cates, and Liam and Sylvie Bowling, Veedersburg. Funeral
services will be at 11 a.m. today (Wednesday) in Dickerson Funeral Home,
Veedersburg, with the Rev. Richard Byers officiating. Burial will be in
Rockfield Cemetery, Veedersburg. Dickerson Funeral Home, Veedersburg, is in
charge of arrangements. Preferred memorials to the American Diabetes
