Lucille W. Tallman Horn of Gary, formerly of Covington, age 69, died Wednesday, February 24, in Porter Memorial Hospital at Valparaiso. She was born in Warren County, June 16, 1912, the daughter of Chalmer R. and Pink Ramsey Tallman. She had retired after 25 years as a weigher for Inland Steel Company.

Survivors include two daughters, June Amaro of Joliet, Illinois, and Donna Sue Jelenek of Merrillville; two sons, Raymond of Hobart and Robert Eugene of Hayworth, Oklahoma; a sister, Bernice Williams of rural Kingman; 11 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday morning at Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home in Covington. Burial was in Lower Mound Cemetery. – thanks so much to “S”
