HORATH, Charles

Charles A. Horath, 67, RR 1, Ambia, died at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, October 29, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette. He was the father of Linda Angstadt of Attica.
Born May 19, 1916 in Mason, Illinois, he was the son of Fred and Della Martin Horath. September 14, 1940, he married Clara Strater in St. Charles, Missouri, who survives. He was retired from Pillsbury Company in Tab, Indiana, where he was employed ten years.
Other survivors include eight other daughters, Joyce Compton and Marilyn Waling, both of Hoopeston, Illinois, Patricia Richter and Janet Richter, both of Danville, Illinois, Evelyn Black of Rossville, Illinois, Kathy Morris and Sharon Horath, at home; two sons, Charles E. Horath and Fred Horath, both of Williamsport; a sister, Vera Mounce of Mahomet, Illinois; a stepbrother, Fred Angle of Urbana, Illinois; and 14 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Services were conducted Tuesday at Locust Grove Methodist Church with Rev. Donald E. Smith officiating. Burial was in Locust Grove Cemetery. -s-
