Attica – Mrs. Nora (Kidwell) Hope, 73 of South McDonald Street Attica died at 8:45 p.m. Sunday in State Soldiers Home Hospital, Lafayette, where she was admitted Dec 19. She had been in ill health two years. Born in Warren County she was married in 1901 to Arch Hope who died in 1924. She was a member of Attica Methodist Church. A son, Andrew Hope of Crawfordsville is the only immediate survivor.

Mrs. Nora Hope, 73 of Attica died at 8:45 a.m. Sunday (Feb 23, 1958) in the Soldiers and Sailors Hospital at Lafayette following an illness of two years. A resident of Attica since her marriage to Arch Hope in 1901, she was a member of the Methodist Church. She was born June 28, 1884 in Warren County, daughter of John and Charity Lowe Pitwell (note Kidwell). Surviving are a son, Andrew of Crawfordsville; a brother, Lon Pitwell (Kidwell) of West Lebanon; five grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Her husband and a daughter, Agnes preceded her in death. Services were held at the Ferguson Funeral Home Tuesday with burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery. – kbz
ATTICA— Mrs. Nora Hope, 73, a resident of Attica for many years, died at 8:45 a.m. Sunday in the State Soldiers Home at Lafayette. She had been ill for the past two years. Mrs. Hope was born in Warren County June 28, 1884, the daughter of John and Charity Lowe Kidwell. She married Arch Hope in 1901, who preceded her in death. She was a member of the Attica Methodist Church and was active in church programs. Survivors include a son, Andrew Hope of Crawfordsville; a brother, Lon Kidwell of West Lebanon; five grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. A daughter preceded her in death. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home in Attica with Dr. Harry Campbell officiating. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery.
