Funeral services for Charles J. Hoover, Muncie, who died unexpectedly Thursday night after suffering a heart attack were held Monday at the Parson Mortuary. The Rev. Donald C. Barnes officiated and burial was in Elm Ridge Cemetery. Mr. Hoover was owner of the Kiddies Shoppe, 114 S mulberry St and the Hoover Sheet Metal Works, 305 N High Street and was a member of the Muncie Merchants Assn. He was born May 20, 1900 to James and Jane Tittsworth Hoover. He attended the Veersburg schools. Surviving are the widow, the former Mildred Wheat: three sons: Jack, William and Robert all of Muncie; three brothers, Franklin and William of Veedersburg and Kenneth of Muncie and two sisters, Mrs. Opal Confer of Tarpin Springs, Florida and Mrs. Mamie Howard of Veedersburg and three grandchildren. – kbz
