Otis W. Hooker, 78, of 103 N. Monroe, Williamsport, died at 6:55 a.m. Monday (July 13, 1970) at Williamsport Community Hospital. He had been ill since March. He was born in Boswell, Ind., May 19, 1892, the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Hooker. He was married Jan. 20, 1913, in Pine Village to Catherine Gertrude Hudler, who survives. Mr. Hooker had resided in Jackson, Mich., for 32 years and Santa Fe, N. Mex., for 11 years, coming to Williamsport in 1956. He was a licensed electrician and was owner of the "Fix-It Shop" in Williamsport. He had worked for the United Pueblo Agency, a United States Indian Service, where he had taught maintenance skill to the Indians. He also had worked in maintenance in Jackson, Mich. Mr. Hooker was a member of the Attica United Presbyterian Church, Williamsport Masonic Lodge 38 for 32 years and White Shrine of Jerusalem in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Survivors include a son, Otis Jr. of Jackson, Mich.; a daughter, Mrs. Helen Brown of Williamsport; a brother, James D. Hooker of Pine Village; s sister, Mrs. Nellie Steward of Kenniwick, Wash., two grandchildren and two-great-grandchildren. Services Wednesday at DeSutter Funeral Home in Attica, with the Rev. Gene Polf officiating. Burial in Pine Village Cemetery.  --waw
