Waldo Holmes died last night in a Chicago hospital where he had been taken a week ago for an operation which he did not survive. The cause of his death was stomach trouble. The body will be brought to Attica this evening at 6 o'clock over the CCE&I RR and will be taken to his home on Holoway Street. Besides the wife he is survived by one son, about 4 months of age. He is also survived by his father and mother, two brothers, Ralph and Philip and one sister, all of Chicago. No funeral arrangements have yet been made.
