Charles Holland, 68, died at 11:40 p.m. Monday at his home in Kingman.  He was a farmer and former highway superintendent for Fountain County.  Mr. Holland was born Feb 15, 1886 at Cates, son of Prior and Celeste Suttles Holland. He first married Ethel Pavey in 1905 and then Sibyl Richardson April 2, 1934 who survives.  He was a member of the Eat Liberty Christian Church and the Modern Woodmen of America Lodge at Kingman.  Survivors in addition to the wife include a daughter, Mrs. Berthavene Keerns of Olivet, Ill; four sons: Gordon of Bloomfield, Ind; Gaton of Michigan; Howard and Glenwood of Veedersburg; two brothers, Frank Holland of Kingman and Thurman Holland of Marshall, Ind; two sisters, Mrs. Ivy Allen of West Lebanon and Miss Eva Holland of Waynetown; 17 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.  A brother and sister preceded him in death. Services were held Thursday at the Kingman EUB Church with Rev. Alfred Dobbs of Veedersburg officiating. Burial was in Kingman Fraternal Cemetery.
