Attica, May 24 – Mrs. Mary A. (Metzingerheit) Holder, 70, formerly of Attica and widow of Harry Holder, died this morning at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Maimie Phipps, Danville, Ill. Mrs. Holder was born near Attica and spent all her life here until moving to Danville several years ago. Surviving are a son, William Holder, Attica; two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Young, Perrysvillle and Mrs. Phipps, with a sister, Mrs. Dennis Mahoney, Attica. The funeral will be hee Thursday at 2 p.m. at the home of the son, William at 304 North First Street.  The Rev. ES Shouse, Danville will officiate and burial will be in Riverside cemetery. - kz
