Covington, Ind. (CNS) — Mrs. Emily F. Holden, 73, a life resident of 823 E. Jefferson, died at 3:30 a. m. today (Oct. 30, 1964) at St. Elizabeth Hospital. She had been ill since 1961 and seriously ill three weeks. Born March 27, 1891, she was the daughter of George T. and Vannora Phoebus Sweezy. She was married Sept. 19, 1908, to Benjamin Holden, who preceded her in death. Survivors include a son, Forrest of Cedarville, Ill.; two daughters, Mrs. Fern Carter at home and Mrs. Freida Kemp of Canton, Ohio; five sisters, Mrs. Norma Ricketts of Indianapolis, Mrs. Elda Articelli of Niagara Falls, N.Y., Mrs. Mary Davis of Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Edna Custer of Garrett, Ind., and Mrs. Marie Cruea of Los Angeles, Calif.; three brothers, Fredrich Sweezy of Louisville, Ky., Edward and Joseph Sweezy, both of Covington; 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister. Services will be at 2 p. m. EST Sunday at the Hegg Funeral Home. The Rev. Glenn Ray will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery. The body is at the funeral home. Friends will be received after 3 p. m. Saturday. --typed by Walt W
