Attica - Mrs. Bessie Elizabeth Hogstrum, 82, who had lived in the Bethel community since 1894 died late Saturday night at Community hospital, Williamsport.  She had been ill 11 months and serious two weeks.  She recently had been living with a daughter, Mrs. Golda Warwick, 403 North Perry,  Attica.  Born in Holland, Mrs. Hogstrum had come to the United States as an infant. She lived at West Point before moving to the Bethel community.  In 1898 she married Martin Hogstrum who died in 1955.  In addition to Mrs. Warwick, survivors include another daughter, Mrs. John Bossaer, R 2; a son, Martin, Jr. R 2 and a sister, Mrs. Thomas Ward, South Bend.

Hogstrum, Mrs. Bessie Elizabeth - Friends may call at Roemer Funeral Home, Attica after 4 p..m. Monday. Funeral services at Roemer Chapel at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Rev. RD Snell officiating, assisted by Rev. Frank Cederquist. Interment in Bethel cemetery, east of Attica. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. - kbz
