Veedersburg - William Hoagland, 93, died at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in Home Hospital, Lafayette, where he had been a patient the last six weeks with heart ailment. He was a retired farmer. A native of Kentucky born Oct 26, 1868 he had lived in this area the past 60 years. Mr. Hoagland was married Sept 1, 1904 to Evelyn Minnick. She survives with four daughters, Mrs. Mildred Kelly of Stone Bluff, Mrs. Florence McCormick of Frankfort, Mrs. Geneva Quinlan of Wingate and Mrs. Alice Krech of Monticello; a son, Billy of Stone Bluff; 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Martha Lancaster of Louisville and a brother, Richard of Buchel, Ky. He was a member of the Stone Bluff EUB Church. Funeral services are to be at that church at 1 p.m Tuesday with burial in Osborne Prairie Cemetery. Friends may call after 1 p.m. Monday at the J. Fred Parham Funreal Home in Veedersburg.
