HIRSHBEEL, Dora Kespler - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

COVINGTON — Mrs. Dora A. Hirshbeel, 86, of Covington, died at 9:30 p.m. Friday in Covington Manor Nursing Home. Mrs. Hirshbeel was a school bus driver here for 15 years. She was a charter member of Covington Business and Professional Women's Club. She attended First United Methodist Church and was active in its Winona Sunday School class and United Methodist Women. She was a member of Troy Home Ec Club and Bend Social Club. She was born Jan. 21, 1889, near Perrysville, a daughter of George and Mary Kespler. She married William Hirshbeel Sept. 21, 1910. He died Dec. 6, 1932, and she moved to Covington. They had farmed in the Bend area. Surviving is a niece, Mrs. Verna Streuer of Danville, Ill. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald Wade officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday.  --typed by Walt W
