Veedersburg, Ind. CNS) — Mrs. Gwendolyn Hinote, 48, died yesterday (Sept. 10, 1967) at the Rudisill Nursing Home in Covington. She had been a patient there since July 10 and had been in ill health 11 months. Born Feb. 14, 1919, at Richmond, Va., she was the daughter of Frank and Bessie Clark McCown. She was married July 24, 1937, at Newport to Edward Hinote, who survives. She was a member of the Mecca EUB Church. Other survivors include four sons, Edward, Steven and Timothy, all of Veedersburg, and Tom of Danville, Ill.; three daughters, Mrs. Sidonya Morgan of Danville, Mrs. Carmelita Van Note and Miss Deadra Hinote, both of Veedersburg; four brothers, Addrian McCown of Brownsburg, Wallace McCown of West Lebanon, Frank and Buss McCown, both of Hollywood, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Juanita Sparks of Rockville, Mrs. Nancy Carr of Mace, and Miss Wilda McCown of Louisville, Ky.; and 15 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, George. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Sever Funeral Home. The Rev. E. V. Wamsley will officiate. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery at Montezuma. The body is at the funeral home. Friends will be received after 7 tonight. --typed by Walt W
