GESSIE Ind. (CNS) — Thomas Victor Hines, 56, died at 6:15 a.m. today (June 18, 1969) at St. Elizabeth Hospital where he had been a patient five days. He had been in ill health two years and seriously ill the past two months. Born Sept, 22, 1912 in Perrysville, he was the son of Thomas and Lottie Whittenmyer Hines. He was married to Dorothy Taylor, who survives. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Webb of Perrysville Route 1 and Mrs. Dale (LaVada) Nelson of Danville; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Mr. Hines was a life resident of the Gessie community. He was employed at the Co-Op Elevator in Gessie for many years. He was a member of Gessie Camp of Modern Woodmen. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home with the Rev. James Downey officiating. Burial will be in Lower Mound Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday afternoon and evening.--waw
