HINES, Clara May - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Attica, Ind, Nov 26 – Mrs. Clara May Hines, 34, died in St. Catherine Hospital in East Chicago, Monday. Her death followed the birth of a child. The infant is also dead. TV Marshall went to East Chicago, Monday and brought the bodies of Mrs. Hines and baby to the Marshall Funeral Home here. They were taken to the home of George May on Perry Street, brother of Mrs. Hines.  Mrs. Hines was born at Independence and is the daughter of Isaac May. She is survived by her husband, Leonard F. Hines; a six-year-old daughter, Betty; her father, Isaac May; two brothers, George May of Attica and Roy May of Winthrop, and two sisters, Mrs. Everett Petro and Mrs. Freeman Keel of East Chicago. Funeral services were to be held Wednesday afternoon from the home of George May, Rev. James B. Muir in charge. Burial in Bethel Cemetery, east of town.
