HIMMELRIGHT, Newton "Yank" - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

State Line, Ind.—Newtown Ray “Yank” Himmelright, 74, a resident of State Line for the past 35 years, died at 4:16 a.m. (July 15, 1974) at Lake View Memorial Hospital. He had been a patient since Friday.

  Born Jan. 2, 1900, in Vermilion County, Ill., he was the son of William and Catherine Goodwin Himmelright. He was married Nov. 30, 1929, to Estelle Clem, who died in 1956.

  Mr. Himmelright also had resided in Pence, Ind., and Danville for several years. He was a retired farmer. (Pape Funeral Home shows that he is buried in the Jordan Cemetery in Pence, Indiana)
